We started out in a small cart at K street and 15th, in DC (District of Columbia) ... we have been reviewed by The Washingtonian and the people of DC.

We are now , located on the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach, in Little River, SC along the highway to Calabash NC.
We now ship our burritos and soon our hot sauces all over the US, especially to our former customers in DC and our new found vacationers. (tourists) :)

John Rider, owner of Pedro and Vinnys was from Washington DC, but now resides in the Little Rver area of South Carolina.
Culinary background: A 1979 Johnson & Wales University culinary school grad, Rider was executive chef of the Key Bridge Marriott’s View restaurant, which was named Best Brunch Spot by the Washington Post food critic Phyllis Richman.
Years as a vendor: Almost ten, including six as the proprietor of Pedro and Vinny’s. Someday he hopes to serve both Italian and Mexican grub from the same cart. Well, that was before but now he has opened a restaurant in Little river, South Carolina on the Grand Stand. Which has some of the most pristine beaches in North America.. 60 miles of them!
The pledge: Nothing frozen, nothing canned. Rider goes through 20 pounds or more of FRESH tomatoes, pounds of dried black beans, and a whole bunch of dried pintos daily.
Customer base: All of his former customers from K Street in DC (district of Columbia) when vacationing (He also mail orders now), and a lot of new customers from all over the world who visit the Grand Strand, which includes Myrtle Beach. We can't forget about the locals who flock to John's restaurant for lunch and dinner.
Size of a medium burrito: 15 ounces.
Burritos sold per day: About 130 in the cold months, about 200 in spring and summer. He this growning rapidly.
Assembly rate: 40 seconds a burrito.
Distinctive touch: Rider’s housemade hot sauces. Spiciness ranges from one to ten, with both fruity and nonfruity options. At a perfect six, his housemade Mango Magma is a crowd favorite and soon will be bottled and sold nationwide.
Freebies: Tortilla chips for snacking and hot-sauce taste testing, York peppermint patties (right below the plastic cutlery) for dessert.
